Live blackjack at Royal Vegas Canada offers players the opportunity to profit off other player’s hot streaks with the Bet Behind feature. This feature allows you to bet on a player at the table that you believe will win your hand. You can track how many consecutive wins any one player has had by using the Hot Streaks table. The Bet Behind option is simply betting on one of the players sitting at the table winning their hand.

The payouts are exactly the same as if you were playing for yourself, with a standard win having a one to one payout and a two-card blackjack having a 3:2 payout. To place a Bet Behind bet, all you need to do is place your chips in the players Bet Behind Box during the betting period.

Like most casino games, live blackjack is easy to play. All you need is a hand total closer to 21 than the dealer without going bust, going over 21.

Live blackjack is played with eight standard 52-card decks and each player at the table is dealt a two-card hand. All the hands at the table are dealt face up, while the dealers hand is dealt with one card face up and one card face down. Players then have the opportunity to take additional cards to get closer to 21.If they go over 21, that hand is bust and they lose.

Hand totals are calculated with cards 2 to 10 having their face value, kings, queens and jacks are worth 10 each, and aces may be used as either 1 or 11.
